Meet Bear,

Bear is an amazing dog. He is very affectionate, intelligent and handsome. He loves to be part of a family and needs attention to thrive. He would not do well in a home where he was left alone for long hours or he was ignored.

His favorite activity is tummy rubs. He sits nice for treats. He will bounce a rubber ball and catch it to entertain himself. He can also dribble a small soccer ball with his front paws. He loves to go on walks and is a great jogging partner, especially now in the cool weather. He currently gets a 4 mile run every morning and a long walk in the afternoon. He gets along great with other dogs and enjoys playing in our back yard with our resident dogs.

It would be preferable if he had a home with a fenced in yard, so he could expend his energy in this way. He also enjoys the dog park and meeting new dogs and people. He is an absolute pleasure to take with us. He rides nicely in a vehicle. We take him to the office. He lies quietly at our feet while we work, and he greets our clients appropriately. He loves chewing on raw hides. He doesn’t chew anything inappropriately. He is completely housetrained and has never had an accident. He doesn’t bark to go out. We just take him out on a regular schedule. He is trusted with free roam of the house. He likes to sleep on the bed with us. He would be fine around kids of all ages. But, he would do best in a home without cats.
