Meet Fozzie!

Fozzie is a cute pug mix that is looking for a new forever home. He is approx. 4 yrs old. Very playful & affectionate with kids. He gets along great with other dogs.

Here is what his foster family had to say about him:

He's such a doll! He is a very good dog. He gets along well with all other animals: dogs, cats, everything! He is great with kids as well, my son just turned 3. They cuddle and sleep together. Fozzie is great with adults as well. He is a real lover.

He follows me around the house, and likes to be in the room where I am or others are. He fetches very well with a ball, toy, etc. He loves bones and socks. He doesn't really chew on the socks, he just retrieves them! He knows which socks belong to whom. He plays with toys and like to fetch the ball, he likes to chew on treats and busy bones.

He is a great addition to our family, and would be with any family. He is very easy going and laid back. He barks when appropriate. He doesn't chew on things really, that he isn't supposed to.

He doesn't care for the kennel too much ... doesn't spend the time in there. He does great walking on a leash. He also does great off the leash at the park.

He sleeps in bed with us. He does like to be close to me. He has been our one constant foster, we love him very much. He has been back to being the only one and loving it!

Anyone that welcomed him into their home and hearts would be so lucky and he would be forever grateful. Will that be you?

*Animals who are not fully vaccinated and altered are not eligible for long distance adoption.

When you adopt a pet from Midwest Animal Rescue and Services, your adoption fee covers: Microchip and registration, Core Vaccines including Rabies, Distemper and bordetella, age appropriate heartworm testing or FeLV-FIV testing, sterilization, heartworm/flea-tick prevention and deworming while in foster care.

Adoption fees are non-negotiable and can be paid by cashier's check, money order or credit card. We do not accept personal checks.

Any issues that arise after adoption are the full responsibility of the adopter after the finalization of adoption. Adoption fees are only part of the expense of owning a pet, so we ask you to consider the costs for the life of the pet before adoption. We recommend pet insurance.
