Description:

Hi! My name is Jeneva. My foster Mom calls me Jen or Jenny for short. Some people also call me Pinky! My foster Mom wants me to tell you that I am a very sweet girl. I love my people and try to be near them always. My favorite part of the evening is napping on her feet and hanging out on the couch with all my foster siblings. I like my siblings now but I was a little afraid of my foster sister, Dilly at first. She has a lot of energy and I wasn't sure what she was trying to do! My Mom let me watch Dilly play with a ball and then I wasn't afraid anymore. Now I like to get Dilly, Maggie, and Kado to chase me around the yard when I take their sticks. When I'm tired of running around I like to sun myself up on the deck with my siblings. We can see the whole neighborhood from there! I like to watch people go by but I rarely bark at them. If they have other dogs with them I like to try and say hello, but my Mom is teaching me that might not always be appropriate. My Mom says I'm smart but I have to learn some new things. I don't know any commands but she says it almost doesn't matter because I'm so good otherwise. I do jump up on people when I get really excited. I want to give everyone I meet kisses! I go in my kennel willingly. I like it in there because it makes me feel safe. Sometimes I just put myself in there if my Mom is working in a room with a kennel. Oh yeah, one more thing... I LOVE to ride in the car!!! I like to sit shotgun and help you navigate. I'm a good rider, I don't get in the way or try to ride in your lap. Once, I was really tired from a long long day and I took a nap on my Mom's shoulder while she drove me home.

I'm really excited to meet my new family and I hope they have lots of sticks for me! So, what do you say... got a stick?

When you adopt a pet from Midwest Animal Rescue and Services, your adoption fee covers: Microchip and registration, Core Vaccines including Rabies, Distemper and bordetella, age appropriate heartworm testing or FeLV-FIV testing, sterilization, heartworm/flea-tick prevention and deworming while in foster care.

Long Distance Adoptions: Animals who are not fully vaccinated and altered are not eligible for long distance adoption. We require a meet of the pet prior to adoption, which means coming to MARS. We do not transport to potential adopters.

Adoption fees are non-negotiable and can be paid by cashier's check, money order or credit card. We do not accept personal checks.

Post Adoption: Any issues that arise after adoption are the full responsibility of the adopter after the finalization of adoption. We highly recommend Pet Insurance. Adoption fees are only part of the expense of owning a pet, so we ask you to consider the costs for the life of the pet before adoption. We recommend pet insurance.
