Meet Elliott!!

*House trained!
*Good with dogs
*Love to play Fetch

Elliott is great with dogs! We have 2 of our own and he gets along great with both.  If one of ours wants to play- he is willing to play. If they want to be by themselves he's fine with entertaining himself. I would call him a pretty chill dog as he goes with the flow of the household.
He does not require much exercise but he loves it when you play fetch with him or go on walks. If we want to take a nap or have quiet reading time, he finds a toy to play with or jumps in one of our laps to tap a nap!

He is great with my teenagers (16 and 19)! I have never seen him around young children, but he loves everyone and loves to give kisses and be loved! I think he would be fine with young children or toddlers.

Elliott is amazingly house trained! When he wants to go potty he goes to the door and lets you know!!

Elliott loves to sleep under the covers at night with us and sleeps all night.

He is great at home when you are gone during the day. For most of the time we think he waits at the door for us!  He does not need to be crated.

Elliott loves walks. He is a respectful walker and knows sit, down, and wait.
He is great in car rides he sits in my daughter's lap and falls asleep.

Elliott only barks right when you get home, during intense play, or at the door bell, but he easily quiets down.

He likes to beg for food, and he jumps on you when you walk in the door but otherwise he is a good boy!

Elliott's favorite pasttimes are to snuggle, play with squeaky toys, play fetch, run around playing chase, and napping in our laps.

He is the sweetest little dog I have ever met! He makes you feel like your the center of his life and that he needs your love all the time. He looks so adorable when we put his little sweater on and even helps us put it on! It is just darling.
He listens to you and you can just tell that he desires to spend as much time with you and to make you happy. He is also the most fun dog I have ever known. You will laugh know matter who you are when you meet this little guy! He has enough personality for one person or a huge family of 10! He will never bore you, and you will never get sick of him, he will become the little love of your life!

A puggle never disappoints when it comes to love and affection!!

When you adopt a pet from Midwest Animal Rescue and Services, your adoption fee covers: Microchip and registration, Core Vaccines including Rabies, Distemper and bordetella, age appropriate heartworm testing or FeLV-FIV testing, sterilization, heartworm/flea-tick prevention and deworming while in foster care.

Long Distance Adoptions: Animals who are not fully vaccinated and altered are not eligible for long distance adoption. We require a meet of the pet prior to adoption, which means coming to MARS.  We do not transport to potential adopters.

How to learn more about a pet: Complete the application (click on the button above) to start our process for adopting or fostering a MARS Pet.

Adoption fees are non-negotiable and can be paid by cashier's check, money order or credit card. We do not accept personal checks.

Post Adoption: Any issues that arise after adoption are the full responsibility of the adopter after the finalization of adoption. We highly recommend Pet Insurance.  Adoption fees are only part of the expense of owning a pet, so we ask you to consider the costs for the life of the pet before adoption. We recommend pet insurance.

Pet Breeds: The pet you are viewing is a rescued pet which is most often from an animal control facility or Shelter partner. The breed(s) listed are our best guess and are in no way guaranteed.

If you choose to DNA test your adopted pet, test results may vary from company to company and our breed guess may not be reflected in those results as it is just that, our best guess without knowing a pet’s full history.
