JC was surrendered because her owners could not afford to care for her and their other dog anymore. Her friend was adopted, and poor JC has been waiting all alone and just hoping for a family to love and call her own. JC is a cutie. She is not a loud beagle, as some can be. She gets along great with other dogs. She has not been around cats yet, but we are pretty sure this laid back little girl would be fine with them. JC is a lovely, mature, tri-colored beagle who will fit into any home! The vet thought she was in great shape for a ten year old. It is very obvious she had a good life and was well taken care of! She sure doesn't show her age! She can walk for miles and does great!! She loves to hang with the adults and play with the younger pups in the house as well. She loves to sleep in, take naps, and play outside. She is affectionate and loving, cuddling and giving kisses all of the time. She waits her turn for treats and takes them very nicely. She runs to the door when you come home, wagging her tail with excitement and happy to have you home. She is fine staying home during the day and will take you to the door when she needs to potty. She is such a gem of a lady, and will fit in with any home, any age children or dogs. She deserves to have her very own family to love!! JC is ready to go home! When you adopt a pet from Midwest Animal Rescue and Services, your adoption fee covers: Microchip and registration, Core Vaccines including Rabies, Distemper and bordetella, age appropriate heartworm testing or FeLV-FIV testing, sterilization, heartworm/flea-tick prevention and deworming while in foster care. Long Distance Adoptions: Animals who are not fully vaccinated and altered are not eligible for long distance adoption. We require a meet of the pet prior to adoption, which means coming to MARS. Adoption fees are non-negotiable and can be paid by cashier's check, money order or credit card. We do not accept personal checks. Post Adoption: Any issues that arise after adoption are the full responsibility of the adopter after the finalization of adoption. We highly recommend Pet Insurance. Adoption fees are only part of the expense of owning a pet, so we ask you to consider the costs for the life of the pet before adoption. We recommend pet insurance.
