BEAUTIFUL 3 & 1/2 YEAR OLD FEMALE AUSTRALIAN RED HEELER/AUSTRALIAN
CATTLE DOG

Very sweet athletic and energetic girl seeking a home where she can
be the only "child".

Forza/ TAZ loves to snuggle and kiss both children and adults but
does not get along with dogs or cats.
She is a good runner and jumper and loves to chase squirrels and rabbits just as much as she enjoys snuggling up with you and napping on the bed or couch. Requires a fenced in yard to play in and a patient human that is willing to further improve her obedience training.

She is already altered and micro-chipped. She knows the basic
commands like sit, get down/off and we are working on the sit & stay before we go in or out of the house. Loves to be in the company of her humans and has some separation anxiety so a person who is at home often would be ideal but not essential. She loves children and has lived with them in the past. The main reason she is up for adoption is she
cannot tolerate the resident dog in her current home as she is very much the alpha dog and has shown overly aggressive behavior towards him so she must be walked and played with totally separate from resident dog. As she loves to run and is a great jumper she would be the ideal companion for a single energetic person or an athletic couple.

When you adopt a pet from Midwest Animal Rescue and Services, your adoption fee covers: Microchip and registration, Core Vaccines including Rabies, Distemper and bordetella, age appropriate heartworm testing or FeLV-FIV testing, sterilization, heartworm/flea-tick prevention and deworming while in foster care.

Long Distance Adoptions: Animals who are not fully vaccinated and altered are not eligible for long distance adoption. We require a meet of the pet prior to adoption, which means coming to MARS. We do not transport to potential adopters.

Adoption fees are non-negotiable and can be paid by cashier's check, money order or credit card. We do not accept personal checks.

Post Adoption: Any issues that arise after adoption are the full responsibility of the adopter after the finalization of adoption. We highly recommend Pet Insurance. Adoption fees are only part of the expense of owning a pet, so we ask you to consider the costs for the life of the pet before adoption. We recommend pet insurance.
