Description:

Poor Franney was found wandering on a lonely road, all by herself. We couldn't help but rescue her - just look at that face! She is 100% purebred CUTE!

Franney has arrived in MN and is settling in nicely at her foster home. Her foster family is happy to report she is an energetic young, small shepherd mix. She is house trained, crate trained, and gets along GREAT with their dog. She enjoys going to the dog park where she runs a lot, but never barks at other dogs or gets aggressive. She is working on learning to sit and do some other basic commands but she is very eager to please and is very smart.

UPDATE FROM FRANEY'S ADOPTIVE HOME, JULY 19TH, 2011:

Franney is doing great. We've been through a lot in
the past few years. Currently we're living in Toronto and she gets to run
up and down the beach of lake Ontario and go swimming in the lake almost
every day. She is a very strong swimmer and loves to fetch tennis balls.
She is also very affectionate and like to cuddle a lot in the mornings

*Animals who are not fully vaccinated and altered are not eligible for long distance adoption.

When you adopt a pet from Midwest Animal Rescue and Services, your adoption fee covers: Microchip and registration, Core Vaccines including Rabies, Distemper and bordetella, age appropriate heartworm testing or FeLV-FIV testing, sterilization, heartworm/flea-tick prevention and deworming while in foster care.

Adoption fees are non-negotiable and can be paid by cashier's check, money order or credit card. We do not accept personal checks.

Any issues that arise after adoption are the full responsibility of the adopter after the finalization of adoption. Adoption fees are only part of the expense of owning a pet, so we ask you to consider the costs for the life of the pet before adoption. We recommend pet insurance.
