Meet Franklin!

This little fellow is coming to us from a rural breeder. The breeder was keeping the dogs in outside pens and now they need to be brought into rescue to avoid the cold temperature. He is looking for his forever home. Will it be with you?

FOSTER UPDATE:Update from Franklin's foster home:
Franklin, or Frankie, came to our rescue with his brother Charles and he
could not be a sweeter pup! He loves to play with toys, people and other
pets. He has a spunky little personality and a great disposition. He
also has a very sweet side and is the best snuggler. He loves to sit on
your lap or be held. He came to rescue with a scratch on his eye and is
currently on medication to heal it. He is a trooper with the eye
medication and even though he does not care for it, he accepts the
treatment without a fuss. He is very young yet and is still working on
housetraining and has not walked on a leash yet. He will make a wonderful
companion!

*Animals who are not fully vaccinated and altered are not eligible for long distance adoption.

When you adopt a pet from Midwest Animal Rescue and Services, your adoption fee covers: Microchip and registration, Core Vaccines including Rabies, Distemper and bordetella, age appropriate heartworm testing or FeLV-FIV testing, sterilization, heartworm/flea-tick prevention and deworming while in foster care.

Adoption fees are non-negotiable and can be paid by cashier's check, money order or credit card. We do not accept personal checks.

Any issues that arise after adoption are the full responsibility of the adopter after the finalization of adoption. Adoption fees are only part of the expense of owning a pet, so we ask you to consider the costs for the life of the pet before adoption. We recommend pet insurance.
