Meet Forrester!

Forrester was adopted when he first arrived at MARS in the Spring of 2011. Due to an unexpected life change, Forrester's owner now has to move and cannot take him with him. Forrester is now looking for a new home.

Forrester loves his family. He is an older pet but plays with other dogs he is familiar with -he prefers to be around medium to large dogs and doesn't care for the little ones.

Forrester loves to play with rope toys! He also loves taking walks, but he likes to take it slower due to his love for smelling everything!

Forrester is completely housetrained.

Forrester is blind in one eye and does have a cataract in the other. He has limited depth perception because this so he is not able to do stairs really well. He can handle a few, but flights of stairs are difficult for him. This doesn't limit the love of this little guy!

*Animals who are not fully vaccinated and altered are not eligible for long distance adoption.

When you adopt a pet from Midwest Animal Rescue and Services, your adoption fee covers: Microchip and registration, Core Vaccines including Rabies, Distemper and bordetella, age appropriate heartworm testing or FeLV-FIV testing, sterilization, heartworm/flea-tick prevention and deworming while in foster care.

Adoption fees are non-negotiable and can be paid by cashier's check, money order or credit card. We do not accept personal checks.

Any issues that arise after adoption are the full responsibility of the adopter after the finalization of adoption. Adoption fees are only part of the expense of owning a pet, so we ask you to consider the costs for the life of the pet before adoption. We recommend pet insurance.
